Most of my group members were requested to take the 6:00AM bus to Punta Arenas, so we had to wakeup at 5:00am and have breakfast at 5:45am (special arrangement for us only BTW otherwise the dining room opens at 7:00am. We found ourself on the road to Punta Arenas at about 6:35am and arrived to our destination at 12:20pm. Right after we arrive in our hotel in Punta Arenas, we began to sort out the pending logistics for our other meeting which will be kicked off tomorrow. On our way to INACH building, we met the Portuguese first explorer Magellan’s status. The belief in Punta Arenas is as follow, ‘if you touch the foot of Magellan’s status, you will definitely come back to Punta Arenas’. Well here I touched it, will I get back? We shall see!!
